ABOUT JASON OWEN
Jason Owen brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience across broadcast television, live production, motorsport, communications and government to every speaking engagement.
His career has included senior technical roles across multiple Olympic Games and major international sporting events, alongside leadership roles with organisations including the Seven Network, Riedel Communications and Olympic Broadcasting Services.
Jason developed the world’s first on-body HD wireless camera system for AFL umpires and invented the SportsCom referee communications system adopted by the AFL and Super Rugby. He has also contributed to Defence and ACMA advisory committees focused on spectrum policy and communications governance.
Today Jason leads D2N Technology Solutions, the Australian family-owned business he founded in 2005, and serves as Chairman of the Sydney Hills Business Chamber and State Councillor for Business NSW.
Jason combines deep technical expertise with practical stories and real-world lessons that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
