The RF Optic 18GHz Ultra RF-over-Fibre Transceiver range enables long-distance transport of wideband RF analog signals with exceptional performance. The transmitter modulates an RF signal onto an optical beam, which is transmitted via single-mode fibre to the receiver, which converts it back to RF. Engineered for high spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) and elevated IP1dBc, it handles multiple signals with vastly different power levels without additional attenuation.
An optional pre-amplifier, post-amplifier, or both can improve the noise figure, enhancing sensitivity. Ideal for 5G testing, antenna characterisation, RADAR, altimeter systems, and DF/ELINT applications requiring concurrent transmission of strong and weak signals with minimal interaction.
